I saw this image and thought it was a good reminder of what this Independence Day is really all about. Since the Declaration of Independence was fully adopted on July 4, 1776, we celebrate our freedom as a country. Since then and still today, we stand and fight for our freedom as a country. Our military personnel put their lives at stake every single day for that fight - for us. So while we are celebrating with BBQs and fireworks and parades, please remember our military who won't see fireworks or parades or BBQs. They continue the fight for our freedom and it is them we should celebrate as the protectors of our great country.
